Midnight 2 AM BJP Workers' Protest at the Police Station: Demand to Attach ASI

Madhya Pradesh:  A conflict between BJP workers and the police has escalated in Jabalpur. Allegedly, two ASIs abused BJP workers, prompting them to protest. In response, BJP workers surrounded the Lordganj police station late at night, demanding action against the officers involved, particularly calling for one ASI to be attached to the line. This incident has heightened tensions in local politics, reflecting the anger of the BJP workers.

The BJP workers accused ASIs Manoj Goswami and Ramesh Rai of abusing and threatening them, following an argument with city minister Kundal Rao. Subsequently, the workers staged the protest at the police station, demanding justice.

To calm the situation, senior police officials assured an investigation into the matter. Only after this assurance did the BJP workers' anger subside. This event could spark further tensions in local politics and impact relations between the police and BJP workers.
