Strict Action in Phalodi Suicide Case:
On October 3, a rape accused committed suicide in the Dechun police station. Instead of keeping the accused in a lockup, the police placed him in a computer room, where he hanged himself from a window using a scarf. Following this, the accused's family refused to take the body and demanded action against the police staff along with compensation. In response to this demand, the IPS took immediate action, line-attaching the entire police station staff.
