The Samajwadi Party has announced new candidates: the son of Awadhesh Prasad and the wife of Irfan Solanki have received tickets.

Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party has released a list of candidates for the by-elections, which includes six nominees. This list is for the Karhal, Sisaamau, Phulpur, Milkipur, Katehari, and Manjhwa assembly seats. The party has prioritized both young and experienced leaders this time, who will prove their strength in the electoral arena.

The Samajwadi Party has given a ticket to Tej Pratap Yadav from the Karhal assembly seat in Mainpur district. This announcement was previously confirmed by the party's General Secretary Ramgopal Yadav. Tej Pratap Yadav is the son-in-law of former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, and he is also the nephew of Akhilesh Yadav. The Karhal assembly seat became vacant after Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav was elected as an MP. By fielding Tej Pratap from this seat, the party has introduced an influential leader who could prove significant for the SP.

The Samajwadi Party has announced candidates for various seats in the by-elections. Naseem Solanki has been given the ticket from Sisaamau, Mustafa Siddiqui from Phulpur, and Ajit Prasad, the son of MP Awadhesh Prasad, from Milkipur. Additionally, Shobha Devi Verma has been nominated from Katehari, and Dr. Jyoti Bind, the son of Ramesh Bind, has been given a ticket from Manjhwa. By-elections will be held for the seats in Ghaziabad, Khair, Meerut, Kundarki, Karhal, Katehari, Milkipur, Sisaamau, Manjhwa, and Phulpur in Uttar Pradesh, most of which have become vacant due to MLAs being elected as MPs. One seat is also vacant due to the conviction of SP MLA Irfan Solanki.
