Raipur: Dr. Rohit Yadav, the newly appointed Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Power Companies, visited the State Load Dispatch Center on October 5, his second day in office. During this visit, he reviewed the company's key operations and assessed the current state of its functioning. Dr. Yadav held separate introductory meetings with the officials of the three divisions—Generation, Transmission, and Distribution—and had detailed discussions. His focus is on improving the company's efficiency and strengthening the power supply in the state through strategic planning.
Dr. Rohit Yadav, a senior IAS officer of the 2002 batch and the newly appointed Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Power Companies, took charge at the Vidyut Seva Bhawan on Friday. After returning from deputation with the central government, he was entrusted with the dual responsibilities of Secretary of the Energy Department and Chairman of the Power Companies. Upon assuming office, Dr. Yadav stated that his main objective is to make Chhattisgarh a leading state in the energy sector, and he is committed to making every effort toward achieving this goal.
On the very next day of assuming office, he visited the State Load Dispatch Center on October 5 and reviewed the company's operations. Present on the occasion were Chhattisgarh State Power Company's Managing Director S.K. Katiyar, Rajesh Kumar Shukla, Bhimsingh Kanwar, Engineers' Association Secretary Manoj Verma, along with other officials.
