Rajasthan Jaipur | The dengue outbreak is rapidly increasing in Rajasthan, with 4227 cases reported so far this year. The most severe situation is in Udaipur, where 550 cases have been recorded, followed by Jaipur with 396 cases and 333 cases in the rural areas of Jaipur. Bikaner has also reported 329 dengue cases.
The death of a nursing student due to dengue in Kota has worsened the situation. The student was found to be dengue positive three days ago, and after her condition deteriorated, she was admitted to Kota Medical College, but she died just a few hours later. In the past 16 days, 1735 new cases have been reported, increasing the pressure on health services in the state.
Dengue Crisis in Rajasthan:
According to the health department, there has been a rapid increase in dengue cases in Rajasthan. Ajmer has reported 119 cases, Alwar 131, Dausa 209, and Kota 178 cases. Due to seasonal diseases, the OPDs of both government and private hospitals in Jaipur and across the state are overwhelmed with patients.

There is a silence in the nursing college hostel, and several other students are also reported to be suffering from dengue. The hostel administration has given leave to all the students. So far this year, Kota has reported 178 dengue cases. The government claims to be on high alert, but the figures indicate that the situation is continuously deteriorating.
