Madhya Pradesh | The threat of chicken guinea and dengue is increasing in Bhopal, raising concerns for the health department. On October 1, 101 chicken guinea tests were conducted in the capital, which is four times more than the 28 tests conducted in September. This is alarming, as such a high number of tests indicates that the situation may be serious. A total of 1,614 chicken guinea tests have been conducted in Bhopal so far, with a positive rate of 6.9 percent.

Health officials have not yet issued any official statement regarding this matter, but three new cases of chicken guinea were reported on October 1. Affected areas include Bag Mugaliya, JK Road, Saket Nagar, and several others. Additionally, there has been an increase in dengue cases as well. Nine new cases of dengue were reported on October 1, bringing the total number of patients to 131. In the past eight months, 214 dengue cases have been recorded at the district malaria office in Bhopal. Therefore, the health department urgently needs effective measures to control the spread of these diseases.
